Seafood is not just tasty, its Healthy
Seafood is full of important nutrients, many of which are scarce in land-based diets. Most seafood products have limited information about their actual nutrient content (FDA's Nutrition Facts Panel does not require much information other than the most basic Macronutrients and a few key vitamins and minerals).
EPA & DHA Omega-3 Fatty Acids.
One of the most important nutrients that Seafood can supply us is long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA). These preformed long-chain Omega-3s are only found in seafood; our bodies can make them from short-chain. Eating Seafood is part of a healthy, balanced diet.
